Top Sandbox Games on iOS in France: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the top sandbox-like games on iOS in France displayed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower.

Roblox, developed by Roblox Corporation, saw its weekly downloads peak at approximately 41K in mid-April. Revenue trends showed an initial decline but recovered in June, reaching around $7K. The game maintained a strong weekly active user base, with numbers increasing from 1.3M to over 1.8M towards the quarter's end.

One State RP: Role Play Online by CHILLBASE LTD experienced a decline in downloads, starting at about 14K and dropping to approximately 8K. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $72.8K in early May before declining to around $66.5K by June's end. Active users showed a downward trend, ending the quarter with around 19K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Games, from Wildlife Studios, had a modest revenue increase, closing the quarter at about $533. Downloads peaked in mid-April at around 6.7K and showed a decreasing trend thereafter. Weekly active users started at 23.7K and decreased to 18.6K by late June.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live, by NAVER Z Corporation, saw a significant revenue spike at the end of June, reaching approximately $16.8K. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 3K to 4K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a peak in April with a gradual decline to around 46.8K by the end of June.

Finally, MultiCraft — Build and Mine! by MultiCraft Studio had steady downloads, peaking at 3.3K in mid-April. Although revenue remained negligible, the game's active user base fluctuated slightly, closing the quarter at about 5.8K.
